We are parents with little people, and we know that sometimes kids chew on things that are not intended as chew toys. Because of this, when designing our products, we determined to use only safe ingredients. So if your Baby Dear does decide to chomp down on their favorite storybook, you can have the comfort of knowing that it’s all good, because it’s all clean.

What are our non-toxic ingredients?
All of our products are made with veg-tan cowskin leather. Leather is a natural material. Differences in grain texture and color are naturally occurring variations and are unique to each piece, guaranteeing that you receive a one of a kind heirloom.
The ink with which we print our books is eco-friendly and non-toxic. After printing, the ink is immediately baked into the leather using a UV light, allowing it to become one with the leather.
All of our products are treated with Montana Pitch Blend. This is a blend of beeswax, mink oil, and pine pitch. This gives the leather its water-repellent and easy clean nature.
How to care for leather toys:
To keep your product in tip top shape, we recommend applying a leather conditioner a few times a year. Montana Pitch Blend is the non-toxic, eco-friendly blend we use to condition the leather during production, and we recommend their products to you as well. To clean your Forever Leather product, gently wipe with a damp cloth, allow to air dry, then recondition if necessary. Watch the video to the right to see how it’s done!
